Felix Lopez has been an international professional musician for more than 30 years.

Felix received his musical training in Cuba and was certified by the Institution of Territorial Artistic Council. His training included vocals, guitar, bass, double bass, and Latin percussion. Subsequent practical experience with well-known groups and bands added piano and specifically bongos, congas, maracas and clave together with the now internationally known “Cuban Tres”.

In 1995, Felix was evaluated by the national commission (Institute of Music) of greatest musicians in Cuba and was certified “First level A Musician”. Performing in various locations around Cuba including performances in Colombia and Dominican Republic, Felix also appeared on Cuban national television.

In 2000, Felix moved to Hong Kong and played with famous Latin bands including “Afro-Cuba“ and “Son Chango”.

From 2003 to 2006, he lived in Madrid and played in many famous venues such as “La Negra Tomasa“, Madrid’s number one Latin nightclub, entertaining Jazz and Salsa lovers from all over the world.

During his stay in Shanghai from 2006 to 2019, Felix extended his already far-reaching musical talents to include playing with a Classical Strings Quartet and Mexican Mariachi in many of China’s famous venues.

He was the founding member of what has become an incredibly popular Latin night in Shanghai’s number one Jazz club “JZ Jazz club”.

From 2019 until 2022, Felix performed at various prestigious locations in the heart of Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur and in the Philippines.

In October 2023, Felix relocated to Benidorm, Spain.
